Usage

Used to identify a statement that is anachronistic (does not suit the time period in question), such as describing an ancient lawmaker as a "parliamentarian" or a modern record player as a "gramophone".

  • {{Anachronism inline|date=November 2024|reason=It describes a modern record player as a "gramophone".}} produces [anachronism]

Hovering over the link reveals the reason and the date it was added.
