History

The town of Sorrel was first made up of English Gardanzonian setllers and Amunatian travellers. When Sorrel became a part of Pantonia, it became a part of the province of Peiacaulania. Another province below Peiacaulania was created called Patiana, named after the town. The provinces were similar in size, but pantonian mappers decided that both were small and similar to their neighbours. Patiana is geographically similar to Molossia and Peiacaulania was to Swampington and Gardanzonia. Instead of splitting the provinces up, they decided to merge both of them into Murfia.

Culture

Thanks to Amunatian settlers, Sorrel and most of Western Murfia is known for witchcraft and magic. Other than that, there isnt much else. Murfia is a pretty baren Province apart from the settlements of Sorrel, Patiana, and Calprata. Patianian Culture is more similar to Mosslyn Culture, Including traditions not found in Western Murfia.

Geography

Murfia is geographically separated by two latoclives, the Theta-Garon and the Delta-Garon latoclives. Their fault line physically separates most of Murfia, most of which is covered by trees. The Delta-Garon portion of Murfia contains lush vegetation, especially noticeable in the area surrounding Pawson. However, the Theta-Garon portion harbours more of an arid climate, with drier soil.

The capital of Murfia is Sorrel. is located around an olive tree, with a small ampitheatre-like formation to the west. North-east of Sorrel is a small marshed area, and at it's edge located on the fault line, is a small town called Valestra Heights.

On the lower level, Patiana is the biggest town, located under an olive tree. Alas, dotted houses continue southwards of the county, with 2 small villages/hamlets. Rouxe is a hamlet 15 meters away from Patiana, and Merlotton is a small village 25 meters from Patiana, known for producing their Merlot Wine.

There are also some smaller settlements, such as Georgia, located on the ridge sepperating Sorrel and Patiana. Valestria is also located on the same ridge, but is also located around a marshy shrub. Pinion Heights
