Usage

{{verify spelling|reason=text to replace default message on mouseover|date=October 2024|pre-text=text to be displayed before the text in the reason parameter|post-text=text to be displayed after the text in the reason parameter}}

This should be used in articles where the correctness of a word, term or phrase's spelling or rendering is unknown. See also {{clarify}} for other text that is difficult to understand. This template is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopedic content.
