- Use this template in the body of an article as a request for other editors to clarify text in a non-Latin script that has no romanized transliteration or transcription.
- This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia articles needing romanization.
- This template is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopedic content.
- Please do not subst: this template.
Usage
This is an in-line template. Place the template immediately after the material in question, as one would do with a footnote. For example:
Bilad Al Qadeem (Arabic: بلاد القديم{{romanization needed}}) is a town in Bahrain.
The above text will cause the tag [romanization needed] to appear inline.
The text "romanization needed" will be linked to Wikipedia:Romanization, which provides links to Wikipedia's various preferred romanization standards.
Redirects
