The Utrean Cold War (also referred to as the Utrean War or the Pantonia–Utrea conflict) was a micronational cold war and social conflict between the Anti-Utrea Coalition, led by Pantonia, and the Utrean Empire, lasting from October 2022 to approximately mid-2023.
Background and Origins
Way before the first conflict arose, Utrea had been long allied with Pantonia since April and with Purcal since 2021. Both alliances were fairly developed, with both Pantonia and Purcal receiving territories from Utrea. Utrea gifted Culpinera to Pantonia, and in return Pantonia gifted them the then-unnamed province of Yutacarania.
Utrea held existing though less-established relations with Lunaria and Takaya (Autumnclan). Utrea also hosted the Utrean Intermicronational Monetary Fund (UIMF) in which all the aforementioned nations were members of.
Lia's behaviour and personality was already known to some of the community. As a result, a few people, such as Mr Burger and Mage, held mild grudges against her that pre-dated any conflict.
