Dassenberg is a very mountainous province, and contasiins multiple peaks. The highest peak, is known as Dassenbergkop, or simply Dassiekop. Other notable peaks are: Violetkop, Sedumkop, and Speldekop. Some smaller peaks are: Blomboskop, Marramkop, Seutelkop, and Hopkinkop. Most of the area in Dassenberg is covered in Fynbos, including many fauna and shrubs similar to that of Table Mountain.

Dassenberg is a province of the Anniestown-Dassenberg Union. The province is located in Cape town, South Africa.

Geography

The Dassenberg province is located in Noordhoek, Capetown. The province is located in a panhandle of the Table Mountain National Park, situated inbetween the M64 Ou Kaapse Weg and the Crofters Valley Neighbourhood.

Physical geography

Dassenberg is a very mountainous province, and contains multiple peaks. The highest peak, is known as Dassenbergkop, or simply Dassenkop. Other notable peaks are: Violetkop, Sedumkop(Mosselkop - Mosselvlei), and Speldekop. Some smaller peaks are: Blomboskop, Marramkop, Seutelkop, and Hopkinkop. Most of the area in Dassenberg is covered in Fynbos, including many fauna and shrubs similar to that of Table Mountain.

Urban Geography

Dassenberg is made up of 7 Districts: Steenvallei, Kroonberg, Bellarberg, Speldeberg, Proteaberg, Skynburg, and Marramburg. These districts are in turn split up into several municipalities.

The Capital and largest city of Dassenberg is Kroonfontein.
