Usage

{{subst:Citation not found}} or {{Citation not found|date=November 2024}}

This template is used to indicate that a shortened footnote or parenthetical reference contains a bad link to the main citation at the bottom of the page. (Please read the sections in Wikipedia:Citing sources that describe shortened footnotes and/or parenthetical references if these citation methods are unfamiliar to you. Detailed information about common problems with these links is available at {{harvard citation}}).

The link in the templates leads the reader to Template:Harvard citation documentation#Wikilink to citation does not work, which has step-by-step instructions for correcting the problem.

Articles that contain this template are added to the category Category:All articles with broken links to citations.
